Team Coast Guard finishes B2V 2010!

The final runner, Lt. j.g. Stephani Young, has crossed the finish line. Great job to all of the runners, the command center/all communications personnel, shuttle drivers, follow vehicle drivers, and all of those who came out to support the team. Another successful year in the history books.

Also thank you to all of our online followers. Here's another message from Capt. W:

"Looks like Stephanie will be finishing in the next few minutes. GO TEAM!
Thank you so much for the posts through the night. It doesn't look like it got as cold through the night this year but it does look like the camaraderie objectives were well met.
I am so proud of everyone who has come together to make the run a success yet again. The evidence of the support and the organization behind the scenes is quite clear. The enthusiasm on the course looks like it carried you well into the night yet again.
Looks like Steph has just made that final turn - right on schedule. Wow!
Now get some rest.
With my highest regards.
CAPT W

A couple of things to note:
251 teams participated this year.
The oldest runner was 80 years old and has run every year since the desert races more than 25 years ago.

We'll see everyone at 6:00 p.m., for the team meeting before the closing ceremonies.
